What is that miniature monster doing on my bathroom floor?

Are you so conscious about your weight that you are addicted to your scale?

Every morning when you get up, do you weigh yourself first thing? If the numbers have gone down, are you elated and your day is awesome?

If the numbers have gone up, are you depressed and your day is the worst ever?

Sound familiar?

I actually hated the bathroom scale! I would do everything possible to avoid stepping on it. I was on so many ricochet diets that I could not even bring myself to go visit the doctor for my annual check-up because the nurse would make me get on the scale to be weighed.

Being weighed was like sending me to some sort of failure recital every time. I was so afraid that the reading on the scale was going to be unfavourable that I would even avoid going to the doctor.

Imagine that!

Can you relate?

Did you know that if you are considered obese, some life insurance companies will not give you coverage? Did you know that people who are considered obese have a much higher rate of heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, and liver dysfunction?

With all the electronics available to us today, we don't even have to get up to change the channel on the TV any more. Soon even driving will be automatic and we will just be able to set the dial on our car to a certain address, and GPS will guide the vehicle to our destination.

Even as it is, we spend inordinate amounts of time sitting.

Did you know that sitting is the new smoking? Yes statistics are showing that people who do not get up and exercise are just as prone to heart and lung disease as someone who smokes a pack a day!

Also, all this sitting is causing more weight gain. Failure to move our bodies, allows more fat to accumulate. Moving and exercising can turn fat into muscle.

So, if you are like me, allergic to the bathroom scale; if you are working out on a regular basis, you are building lean muscle mass, and that weighs more than fat. Also, the scales will show weight gain because of the increased muscle mass.

The measurement we need to be more aware of is our inches lost. Our weight may stay the same for a period of time, or even increase a bit, but our inches will be decreasing as we become more trim.

How cool is that!

Want to lose your fear of the bathroom scale and trade it for being trim and fit?

Are your knees bothering you a lot lately?

Are you carrying some extra weight on that once svelte body?
Do you know what that extra weight is doing to your knees?
If you belong to the Arthritis Society and attend their training sessions and Self Help workshops, you will have learned a few things about your knees.
Your knees are a very important part of your body and they carry the brunt of every activity we endeavour. Think about it. When you want to bend down, your knees have to bend. When you want to walk, your knees have to bend. When you want to climb stairs... knees again.
It is not just your feet that keep your body in balance, but your knees working in tandem with your feet to maintain balance. It does not matter what activity we do, without our knees, we are pretty much physically handicapped.
There are some statistics available to us now about how our weight gain affects our knees.
Did you know that for every pound of weight you gain, it results in pressure on your knees. Did you know how much stress and pressure results on your knees for every pound of weight gain?
The actual statistics are from the Arthritis Society. For every pound of weight gained, pressure is increased on the knees by ten times.
In other words, if you are 40 pounds overweight, you are carrying 400 pounds of stress on your knees. This makes it not only more challenging to move around, but can cause damage to the joints as a result of carrying the extra weight over long periods of time.
It happens so gradually that we do not realize that our sore knees are actually caused by our extra weight.
Imagine that!
If you are looking for a way to release some weight and thus relieve pressure on your knees, let's chat.

Freedom 2 Be Me

Are you wondering how you can get from point "A" to point "B" building your business?

OK team! Challenge time!!!

Do a live video!

Topic:

What has Red Box done for you?

Not just the weight loss etc. But what kind of life do you have now?

And money wise what has it done for you?

Eg. I used to watch Netflix all day. Now I get up and play basketball with my kid.

Money wise, I get to go to all my son's out of town tournaments.

What have you done to look so great these days?

People want to know more when we leave the sentence unfinished or ask them questions. Remember that the answer is always in the questions.

Are you posting on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn?

Do you know what you need to finish out the month with your goal? Do you know what your team needs? Find out. Ask them.

Here is an idea: Offer to pay the membership fee for anyone who signs up before the end of the month. That will be the $14.95 US. Rock the end of the month. Let me know how you and your team can help you achieve your goals.

What is your "Why" and how does it relate to anything in your life? What inspires you to build your business?

Maybe you have some health and wellness goals you are trying to achieve? Maybe you're training for a tournament?

My family, my spouse, my children are my "why".

If you're not seeing advancement as quickly as you would like, get in touch with your "why".

Why am I doing this? What does this mean to me?

Without your "why" you are dead in the water before you get started.

Do you have a little Green Gremlin in your head?

You are not alone if you have that Green Gremlin constantly bantering you!

The Green Gremlin I am speaking about is that little voice telling you every day that you look ugly, fat, old, awkward...all the negative connotations of yourself.

Every time you look in the mirror, you see...you! Plain old...you! Ugly...you!

You wish you could lose some of that oh so ugly and uncomfortable weight you have been constantly adding to for the last 10 years. You have tried so many diets that you feel like you are on a merry-go-round!

Yes, I hear you!

Your thought is that if you could just lose ten pounds or whatever your goal is, you would feel so much better about yourself. But every time you are on a new diet, and you lose those pounds, you find that you are starving, and that after you achieve your goal, your body just cries for it all to come back to you again...and then some!

Get my drift?

What if I told you I had a secret that would transform you and your life forever? What if you knew that you could be successful and lose those pounds plus more, if that was your desire, and never find them again?

It's a combination of what you eat, along with what you speak.

What are you telling yourself every day? You want to LOSE weight, right. You are so fed up you are ready to try almost anything to feel great about yourself again.

Ready for this?

Here's the secret!

Number 1: STOP saying you want to LOSE weight. Subconsciously you are telling your body that it is going to suffer for life if you LOSE weight. Your subconscious will be constantly fighting against your weight loss because it wants to find the weight again!

Did you know this?

Change your terminology right now! Start saying you are going to RELEASE weight. Once your mind releases the weight, it will stay gone forever.

Number 2: DO start with a cleanse today. We all need to detoxify our bodies before we can permanently RELEASE those unwanted pounds.

Oh! You don't know what a cleanse is or how it works with your weight release program? Then let's have a chat.

Believe me, I have RELEASED 30 pounds of unwanted body fat and kept it off for over two years! If I can do it, you can too.

Let's chat!

How do you get your life back?

Are you looking to release some weight in order to feel healthy again?

The Red Box program is an awesome way to kick-start your journey.

The kick-start to your program includes an 8 day detoxification program. There are great tasting protein shakes, drinks, and nutritional supplements, all made from the purest ingredients to be found on the face of this earth.

That said, a few years ago, I was in a bad place having lost over 30# on a system and then regained the weight. I was stuck.

Then one day I was offered an opportunity to try a new system. I thought, "Why not try it." So I did and was able to release 15 pounds in my first 8 days! Imagine how great I felt that day when I stepped on the scales and found that I was down by half of the weight I wanted to release from my body.

I went on to release the rest of my excess poundage over the next few months and have maintained it for over two years now.

I wanted to touch on some of the symptoms our bodies experience during the 8 day detox.

Remember that everyone is different and some people don't experience any noticeable differences in how they feel on a day to day basis.

Some will have a bit of diarrhea, but it does not last more than a couple days or so. Others will experience fatigue, so just take time to rest a bit during the day. The odd person has some tummy discomfort for a short time. There are several different reactions people have when going through this first 8 days.

Rest assured that the symptoms will pass and you will feel like a new person when you have finished your 8 days.

If you have 10 to hundreds of pounds to release, this program will work for you.

I was so impressed that now I am helping many others do the same as what I did.

Get your life back!

Rocks, Pebbles, Sand & Beer

Are you focusing on the pebbles and sand in your life, or the big rocks?

Do you know the difference?

Life is full of big rocks...big events that must be done. The pebbles and sand represent all the little things that can be distractions or the things we need to do in order to complete a Big Rock.

I am reminded of an analogy given by a university professor. RocksPebbles and Sand

My question to you is, "Have you allowed all the pebbles and sand to keep you from your main "big rock", you? Are you allowing all the unimportant things in your life to get in the way of taking care of yourself?"

What is the main thing in your life that is the most important to you? Take that one thing and focus on it. When you focus on improving yourself ... not in a selfish way, but so you can be a better you and more able to help others, your life will be full of purpose and meaning.

Are you one of those people who is busy running around serving others, too busy to do anything for yourself? No time for exercise; no time for meditation; no time for just sitting and reading a good book? If this is you, how effective are you?

If this is you, I understand because I was there once.

So, what are you doing about your "rocks"?

Send me your questions and comments and I will answer them in my next blog.

What are the major tools you need for YOU?

What is one of your major tools you must have, to have a good day?

Mine is sleep.

I chose to stay out really late on Thursday night, even though I knew I had a very early busy day and night ahead of me.

Friday I felt huge anxiety and overwhelm!

See, I have prayer, meditation and my awesome Products to help me feel great. However when I don't get enough sleep or to much sleep, the black cloud seeps in. Yesterday was a very challenging day on me mentally. All day I had to remind myself that I don't have anxiety and depression anymore.

...That this was just an off day..That this day will pass.

Last night I had some good friends come over. The whole day I wanted to cancel so bad. See I have fear of being around people when I'm in this state.

I pushed through the feeling and kept my commitment.

It felt so good to wake up feeling proud I didn't let my gremlins win ( negative self talk )!

All day I said.." This will pass. I have felt like a million bucks for awhile now. This is just a moment because of lack of sleep". I said this all day long. It WAS a very long day!

I encourage you to look at your life. What tools in your tool kit make you feel great and what needs to stay out.

For me, lack of sleep needs to NOT happen in my life.

I know this and moving forward I need to be more aware of what I'm doing that can affect me later.
Thanks for listening. ;-)

P.S: If you are prone to depression, studies have shown that less than 7 and more than 9 hours of sleep can lead people back to depression at a 46% rate. I proved this yesterday.

Make it a great Day!
